Program
One week from Monday to Sunday.
- 1st Day
Departure from L'Aquila by minibus. Transfer to Bisegna (Avezzano). Sport climbing day at the crag.
Installation of the camp with tents supplied by us. Preparation of dinner at the camp. Overnight in tent. Packed lunch brought from home.
- 2nd Day
Disassembling of the camp. Transfer by minibus to Val Fondillo. Excursion to Monte Amaro di Opi. Chamois sighting. Packed lunch provided by us. After the excursion transfer to Villetta Barrea and preparation of the camp. Stay in a tent. Dinner at the camp.
- 3rd Day
Lake of Villetta Barrea. Short lesson of introduction to canoeing. Canoe excursion with the Canoeing Masters of the Lake of Barrea. Possibility of bathing in the lake. Packed lunch provided by us. Afternoon: transfer by minibus to the cliff of Villetta Barrea. Climbing.
Dinner and overnight in the camp.
- 4th Day
Disassembling of the camp. Transfer by minibus to Ferentillo (Umbria). Packed lunch. Afternoon: visit of the mummies of Ferentillo and climbing activities at the crag. Overnight in a hostel with a sleeping bag. Dinner cooked by us at the hostel.
- 5th Day
Sports climbing morning at the Ferentillo crag. Packed lunch. Afternoon: short transfer to the Nera River Rafting School. Experience of descent along the Nera river with rafting instructors. Overnight in a hostel with a sleeping bag. Dinner cooked by us at the hostel.
- 6th Day
Canyoning: lesson and descent in the Rocca Gelly gorge. Packed lunch. Short transfer in the afternoon and climbing activities at the crag. Overnight in a hostel with a sleeping bag. Dinner cooked by us at the hostel.
- 7th Day
Last day dedicated to climbing. Packed lunch. Return in the afternoon to L'Aquila. Snack (dinner) back to the Monkey's Garage. Greetings.
