Easy excursion for families with children and for those who are beginners with snowshoes. The evocative environment of Campo Imperatore, the minimum difference in height and the simplicity of the itinerary make this excursion spend a pleasant day on the snow to those who are not used to walking on snowshoes. Program
Appointment at Castel del Monte. Transfer by car to the Campo Imperatore upland where the landscape varies between large areas and beech woods. Easy hike between ups and downs, woods and plateau recognizing the traces of the animals and learning the technique of snowshoes uphill and downhill.

Total gap: ascent m.150 – descent m.150 – 3 hours easy route

Meeting point: Castel del Monte (central square) at 9.30. Short transfer by car to reach the snow.

Return: Castel del Monte at 02:00 p.m.
