A loop ride going up the ridge to the top of Mt. Meta where the view sweeps 360 degrees, then down through a beautiful beech forest to touch the Voltigno plain. From there again uphill we return to the woods to cross it and return to the starting point.
The Voltigno plain is a beautiful karstic plateau surrounded by beech woods where small lakes form in the spring. Very interesting are the sinkholes where the water disappears underground.
A varied environment and Mount Meta with its 1784 m make this is one of the most beautiful snowshoeing that we like to repeat!

Meeting point: Castel del Monte at 9.00.
Short transfer by car to the Campo Imperatore upland.
Gap: +400/-400 m. - Walking hours: 5. - Difficulty: medium

Technical requirements
Sufficien trainig for mountain walking is required.
The program can be modified or interrupted by the guide due to the insufficient technical level of the participants or for meteorological reasons.

In case of modification of the itinerary due to causes external to the organization (adverse weather conditions, technical level of the participants, etc.) the unforeseen expenses will be debited to the participants.
