Very nice route, not technically difficult, but of great pleasure, in one of the lesser known areas of the Gran Sasso. After crossing a wonderful beech forest you reach the Panepucci Refuge. After the Refuge, continue for another half an hour (if snow conditions permit) to the Sella del Belvedere.
The path that we will follow will allow us to admire a 360 degree panorama that goes from the Valle del Chiarino to the Monti della Laga and the highest peaks of the Gran Sasso massif.

- Passo delle Capannelle - 9:00
We meet in L'Aquila, then from here we reach by car the Passo delle Capannelle, the starting point of our excursion.
