Sella di Corno is a small town located just before the homonymous pass on the railway that connects Rieti with L'Aquila. We are on the border between Lazio and Abruzzo. The landscape is typically Apennine without the great peaks typical of Abruzzo but offering fantastic views of the nearby mountain of Terminillo and beyond the Velino and Gran Sasso. The hike can reach the top of Mount Vignola at an altitude of 1470m and from there to Mount Torrecane 1576m making it even more interesting.

• Railway station in Paganica at 8:00
• Sella di Corno at 09.00

Medium trainig for mountain walking is required
